In this course I will take you through the process of choosing a suitable pattern, learning to read it and determine your size, adjusting the pattern to fit your measurements, then cutting and marking your fabric, and finally learning the techniques needed to sew up your garment.
I am passionate about teaching people the skills to confidently read and follow a sewing pattern and to make adjustments to patterns to make the clothes fit them perfectly. I have been teaching sewing classes since 2011 and have a wealth of experie
nce in teaching, knowing what people struggle with, and how they like to be taught.
With the help of videos, texts and some downloadable files you will work through the whole process from opening the pattern envelope to pressing that final hem.
