How to cut your pattern from fabric – note of right side/ wrong side, pattern, selvedge, grainline, on the fold/ cutting instructions

Fold each piece of fabric for each pattenr piece – start big

NOTE cutting instructions – on fold, cut more or less than 2? Cut one from main and one from lining or interfacing?

Once fabric is folded lay pattern piece on edge if needed or away from edge if not, pin around making sure pins are not sticking out

Cut around with sharp big dressmaking scissors or use a rotary cutter

Mark all the notches (talk about differnt ways of marking the notches)

Mark other instructions, darts etc – tools and video

Do not remove paper from pattern piece, leave one pin

Repeat until all done
