For almost all sewing machines it is vital to make sure the thread comes off the bobbin over the top and to the left, like a P and not the other way round, like a Q. Occasionally this is the other way round but it is very rare. Also absolutely make sure your bobbin thread is wound up tightly and evenly, or it won’t come off neatly either. If it is looping or loose you have to start again. Make sure you are wrapping the thread around the tension disc. Also make sure your bobbin thread goes in to the bobbin tension system!
