Hi I am Jennie and I have been teaching sewing classes since 2010! I am passionate about sewing for practical reasons (repairing, altering, making) as well as for pleasure (mindfulness, creativity) and especially for empowerment.

Being able to make your own clothes and create a great fit for your own wonderful and unique body is so awesome, and never having to stand in a shop changing room wondering why the shoulders fall off when the bust fit and why the waist sits in completely the wrong place, is invaluable. Making clothes in beautiful fabrics and with just the right amount of pockets and with just the right length and just the right collar is just amazing.

I am passionate about fit and about making it all make sense and achievable. I have a lot of students who now regularly make all their own clothes, and repair and alter them too, now they understand how clothes fit and are constructed. I am afraid clothes making is quite addictive!
