I am a locum toy repair doctor, helping out They Shout Hello. I am not anywhere near as experienced at high end repairs as Katherine is, and will leave the really specialised work to her. But for restuffing, new eyes, reattaching limbs, embroidering noses/ eyes/ mouths etc, I am extremely capable. Can often do same day repairs for those toys that cannot be apart from their owners for long! This will cost a little more.

Wash, fluff and stuff of a non-jointed friend – from £55

Surface clean on vintage/antique friends – from £75

Popped seam – from £20

Patching – from £20

Joint replacement – from £30 each (includes reinforcing the fabric internally if necessary).

External Paw Pads – £30 each plus fabric cost

Growlers /Squeakers – £20

Full Lining – from £160 – £400

Replacement eyes/nose – £20-30

Embroidery – from £15

The price will increase slightly according to the size. Please add £10-£20 if they are filled with foam chips. This stuff is nasty and messy. It disintegrates to a powder, leaves an orange residue and is carcinogenic. If toys have this filling I will insist on replacing it before I start other repairs.
